Guidelines for manuscript submission and management
The corresponding author, or whoever is designated for this purpose, will submit the manuscript through the journal's online platform[1]. In case of technical difficulties during the registration or submission process, the journal's official e-mail address (revista.aypate@unf.edu.pe) may be used as an exceptional alternative. In any case, the submission should include the following documents:
Annex 1 (Information Sheet) must be attached to the scientific manuscript, as indicated in the “Scientific Article Template”.
The “Annexes” must be correctly signed and attached in a single document in PDF format.
Annex 02: Affidavit of Originality
Annex 03: Declaration of ethical principles
Annex 04: List of authors
Annex 05: Request for permission to publish
Annex 06: Letter of assignment of publication and reproduction rights
Supplementary material (De Corresponder)
The editorial process of the journal begins with an initial evaluation by the Editor, who verifies the adequacy of the manuscript to the editorial line and its conformity with the established guidelines. Articles that meet these criteria are submitted to a rigorous peer review system, where at least two external reviewers, whose identities are kept anonymous, examine the work. These reviewers have a maximum of thirty days to issue their opinions using the “Evaluation Sheet”, recommending acceptance or rejection of the article. This review process has an average duration of two months, with the institutional commitment that the total time from receipt to publication does not exceed three months. In the event that the manuscript does not conform to the editorial guidelines or to the specified conditions, the Editor reserves the right to request partial or total modifications, which would imply restarting the submission process. It is important to note that the initial response is provided within a maximum period of five days, during which time the Editor or an associate editor performs a preliminary evaluation that may result in the acceptance to begin the peer review process or in the rejection of the manuscript. This practice optimizes review resources and provides authors with rapid feedback to make timely decisions on the submission of their work to other publications. In case of rejection at this early stage, the editor provides a detailed explanation of the reasons for the decision.

Once the reviewers' opinions are received, they are forwarded to the author for consideration. The author is expected to incorporate any pertinent suggestions and comments (using the format for response to reviewers), and then resubmit the revised manuscript. This iterative process of review and revision is maintained until the manuscript reaches a satisfactory level with no outstanding comments. After final approval, the manuscript is transferred to the editing department for typesetting. As a final step prior to publication, a proof of the article is provided to the author for final review and approval. It is important to note that, in cases where the modifications made do not meet the expectations of the reviewers or editors, there is a possibility that the manuscript may be rejected for publication, even at this late stage of the process. This rigorous procedure guarantees the quality and scientific rigor of the articles published in our journal.
